AGENDA

 

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Pecan Hill, Texas will hold a Regular Meeting at the above named date, time and location for the purpose, consideration and action of all items listed below.

 

1.                  Identification of a quorum.

 

2.                  Pledge of Allegiance.

 

3.                  Citizens Comments

This is the citizen’s opportunity to make a presentation, ask questions of the City Council, or otherwise be heard at the City Council Meeting.  No action will be taken on any matter raised by a citizen, but items suggested for action may be placed on the agenda of a future meeting.  Due to the numerous agenda items and limited time for the Council Meeting, each citizen’s comments are limited to a total of three minutes.

 

4.                  Consent Agenda

All items listed under the consent agenda are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below.  There will be no separate discussion of these items.  If discussion is desired, that item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be considered separately.

                  

A.      Approval of Minutes from October 20, 2009

B.     Approval of Financial Reports

 

 5.         Discuss and take action on the Ellis County 2009-2010 maintenance needs for the City to assist Ellis County in creating a work plan for the next fiscal year.  Ron Brown, County Commissioner will provide additional information to the Council on the maintenance schedule.  

 

6.          Discuss and take action on establishing a maintenance plan for the Special Fund Capitol Improvement and Repair Fund.  

 

7.          Discuss and take action on ballot and Resolution # 09-03-A resolution of the City Council of the City of Pecan Hill, Texas casting votes to elect Directors for the Ellis County Appraisal District for the years 2010-2011.

 

8.          Discuss and take action on Resolution # 09-04-A resolution of the City Council of the City of Pecan Hill, Texas indicating the City of Pecan Hill will pursue all EECBG funding made available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and being allocated by the State Energy Conservation Office to be used to assist in reaching the City’s goals of energy efficiency.

b.      Code of Ordinances

c.      Time off and dates (November 23-27, December 24,25, January 1)

d.      Attending school December 7-11 in Austin

                      

 

 

10.       Adjournment.
