EARLY VOTING AND ELECTION DAY
VOTING TO BE HELD AT THE ELLIS COUNTY JOINT ELECTION POLLING PLACES

• The first day to file an application for a place on the Pecan Hill General Election ballot for Mayor and Council Places 1 and 2 is January 17th, 2024. The last day to file an application for a place on the General Election ballot is February 16th, 2024.
• The last day to file as a write-in candidate is February 20th, 2024.
• The filing requirements / qualifications to serve on the Pecan Hill City Council are per state statute and are available at https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/candidates/index.shtml. To
