This is the citizen’s opportunity to make a presentation, ask questions of the City Council, or otherwise be
heard at the City Council Meeting. No action will be taken on any matter raised by a citizen, but items
suggested for action may be placed on the agenda of a future meeting. Due to the numerous agenda
items and limited time for the Council Meeting, each citizen’s comments are limited to a total of three
minutes.

Consider and take possible action on ORDINANCE 2023-02 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PECAN HILL, TEXAS DISANNEXING APPROXIMATELY 384.356± ACRES OF LAND FROM THE CITY LIMITS OF PECAN HILL, TEXAS; GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST AREA OF THE CITY IN ELLIS COUNTY, TEXAS AS DESCRIBED AND DEPICTED IN THE ATTACHED EXHIBITS ‘A’, ‘A-1’, ‘B’ AND ‘B1’; PROVIDING THATTHE CITY OF PECAN HILL RELINQUISHES ANY AND ALL EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION CREATED BY SUCH DISANNEXATION; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE ON AND AFTER ADOPTION AND PUBLICATION.

Consider and take possible action adopting RESOLUTION 2023-01R , A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PECAN HILL, TEXAS, ADJUSTING THE BOUNDARIES AND LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PECAN HILL EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION PURSUANT TO AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BOUNDARYADJUSTMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PECAN HILL AND THE CITY OF RED OAK DATED JUNE20, 2023; AND, HEREINAFTER THE CITY OF PECAN HILL DOES HEREBY RELINQUISH THE PORTION OF ITS EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION AS SET FORTH IN THE BOUNDARY AGREEMENT, DATED JUNE 20, 2023 AND DESCRIBED AND DEPICTED IN EXHIBIT “A”, ATTACHED HERETO AN INCORPORATED HEREIN; TO RELEASE SAID PROPERTY; AND, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
