NOTICE OF REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING

September 17th 2019 at 7:00 p.m.
AGENDA
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Pecan Hill, Texas will hold a Regular Meeting at the above named date, time and location for the purpose, consideration and action of all items listed below.
1. Identification of a quorum.
2. Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Citizens Comments
This is the citizen’s opportunity to make a presentation, ask questions of the City Council, or otherwise be heard at the City Council Meeting. No action will be taken on any matter raised by a citizen, but items suggested for action may be placed on the agenda of a future meeting. Due to the numerous agenda items and limited time for the Council Meeting, each citizen’s comments are limited to a total of three minutes.
4. Consent Agenda
All items listed under the consent agenda are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. There will be no separate discussion of these items. If discussion is desired, that item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be considered separately.

5. Public Hearing
The City Council of Pecan Hill, Texas will meet and conduct a Public Hearing at
7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 17th, 2019 at City Hall, 1094 S. Lowrance, Pecan Hill, Texas to consider the 2019-2020 Fiscal Year Budget. Any person may attend and participate in this hearing.

6. Action Items
Discuss and take possible action on Ordinance # 2019-05 adopting a proposed tax
rate for tax Year 2019-2020. The proposed tax rate is 0.320959 per $100 of value.
7. Discuss and take possible action on Ordinance # 2019-06-An ordinance of the City
of Pecan Hill, Texas providing funds for the fiscal year 2019-2020 by approving the
budget for said period and appropriating and setting aside the necessary funds out of
the fiscal year for the operation of the departments and other various activities and
improvements of the City; and providing an effective date.
8. Discuss and take possible action on hiring a part time office assistant, Katherine Radcliffe, 10 to 15 hours a week/as needed, for $15.00 dollars and hour.
9. Discuss raise for staff.
